I Came to Dr. Islinger for an ankle fracture. The doctor took a lot of time at every visit explaining what was seen on exam, and my progress. I listened to instructions and followed them as told, and was very happy with my choice of doctor. I Could not have chosen anyone better. Forget what everyone says about going to a doctor in Philly.
The best doctors are right here in South Jersey at this practice. Dr. Islinger was surely the best!
I had a procedure on my right shoulder by Dr. Barrett. The total experience was exceptional. From the day of surgery to the follow-up visits. Initially I was a little apprehensive due the fact I had the same procedure on my Left shoulder several years ago and I remember the excruciating pain that followed. This time I had the procedure performed at Shore Medical Center and the anesthetist preformed a shoulder nerve block and it helped considerably with the pain following surgery. Dr. Barrett, in my opinion is the BEST at what he does, I have several surgeries performed by him and his attention to detail is uncanny. He is professional, courteous and knowledgeable, and explains everything so that the lay person can understand. I highly trust his professional opinion and his surgical expertise.
I had a bad ankle and hadn’t been able to walk
without it giving out for the last 15 years, until I met Dr. Lai!
I had been to a couple of doctors, but never got an answer I was comfortable with. They talked about bone grafts and ankle replacement or just plain fusing it. So, I continued to wrap it and wear high boots that laced up into the calf so I could walk.
I went to see Dr. Lai and told my wife, the first time he says six months on crutches, I am leaving. I told him what I had been through up to this point and he said he has new procedures that can be done and if the dead bone was my only problem I would be back on my feet in no time. I had torn all of the tendons and ligaments in the ankle as well as fracturing it at some point. He said he would fix the dead bone problem minimally invasively and then take the tendons and ligaments apart to weave them back together the way they belonged. He told me I would be non-weight bearing for 6-8 weeks on crutches and then in a boot for four months. This was a lot better than being non-weight bearing for a year, so I said let’s do it.
Two surgeries in two years on my left arm…. A rotator cuff mess and a shredded forearm tendon. I went to see Dr Alber and I got what I needed. No nonsense diagnosis and treatment plan. He spoke, I listened, I agreed! Two surgeries later, I’ve had great results, he is a true consummate professional. I was lucky to find him and I wonder what our next adventurous bone fix will be? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FINE DR! Douglas Martin -Galloway, NJ
