I highly recommend Dr. Krome. He has been my doctor since 2009. Aside from been courteous he is very smart and knowledgeable in his field of medicine. I have asked so many questions about my knee and the problems I am having my left knee and leg pain; and he has taken time to explain and treat my problems and permanent disability.
He is a Godsend!

ARE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW SUFFERING FROM KNEE PAIN?

Recognizing a knee problem can occur at anytime. Arthritic knee problems may be related to previous injury, demands placed on it over a lifetime, or a family predisposition.

When to seek help is usually prompted by either severe pain or just that nagging ache that won’t resolve. There are a number of ‘over-the-counter’ remedies that most of us try at some point. Taking time out for a doctor appointment is saved for when other options don’t seem to make much headway toward resolving the problem.

Arthritic pain can become more than an annoyance for some. Giving up activities or declining invitations because the knee won’t “make it” are common concerns. In the worst cases even a good night’s sleep can be difficult.

When To See A Doctor?
If you are suffering from…

  • Prolonged joint pain
  • Joint swelling
  • Redness or warmth about the joint
  • Loss of sleep due to pain
  • Pain after a period of rest
  • Diminishing motion or progressive limp
  • Limitation of normal activities
  • Inability to participate as desired due to pain
  • Multiple episodes of pain during a month

Many conditions can cause or contribute to joint pain and many treatments exist.

Total Knee Replacement
Physician: Richard B. Islinger, MD

I had a Total Knee Replacement by Dr. Islinger at Shore Medical Center 5 years ago.

I have often said that I could be the poster child for knee replacement. Very, very little pain or discomfort. He was just wonderful, as was the hospital staff, and his office staff. I probably should not say this, but at my 2 1/2 week appointment I was told by his PA that I was doing so well (walked in without the walker) that I could go ahead and do what I felt. I felt that I could drive, and go back to the gym, which I did!!!

To this day, I have had zero problems with my knee. Thank you, thank you!!!!

Knee Scope
Physician: Frederick G. Dalzell, MD

I had a fantastic experience with my knee scope. Walked out of surgery and never needed any pain medication. Went right back to work the next day. I was given permission to row after two weeks, and did so with no pain.

Thank you to Dr. Dalzell and the fine staff.

Great Care with Dr Zabinski!

Hip/Rotator Cuff
Physician: Stephen J. Zabinski, MD
Dr Zabinski has helped me through 6 years of orthopaedic issues. It began with severe tendinitis in my hip and eventually 2 torn rotator cuffs. I’m pleased to say that the left torn rotator is a complete success, and a new right hip is mostly successful (he warned me that I wouldn’t get 100%relief due to the tendinitis).

However, I had great care during these 2 procedures and most likely will have my right rotator repaired by Dr Zabinski as well. Great staff and follow up.
