Shore Orthopaedic University Associates, Drs. McCloskey, Zabinski, DeMorat, Islinger, Alber, Barrett and Fox are pleased to welcome Frederick G. Dalzell, M.D. and Stanley C. Marczyk, M.D. to the team. Both physicians formerly of Atlantic Shore Orthopaedic Associates in Northfield, NJ will join the practice as of June 1, 2014.

Frederick G. Dalzell, MD is Board-Certified as an Orthopedic Surgeon by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Dalzell has a special interest in Sports Injuries, including arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, as well as knee ligament reconstruction and complex fractures. His expertise includes partial and total knee replacements and revision surgery.

Stanley C. Marczyk, MD is Board-Certified as an Orthopedic Surgeon by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Marczyk has completed a Fellowship in Hand Surgery and earned a Certificate of Added Qualification for Surgery of the Hand. He specializes in Surgery of the Hand and Upper Extremity, including microscopic nerve and tendon surgery, arthroscopic wrist and elbow surgery, total wrist and total elbow replacement, and joint replacements in the hand.

Joe just returned from vacation in Florida, he is so happy he was able to swim and walk on the beach again.

Joe had been putting off knee replacement surgery for about a year.  The extensive rehab time and the daunting thought of being out of work for several months had him apprehensive about the surgery. Joe lives in the Toms River area and had seen several Orthopedic Physicians, they all told him the same thing. The average recovery time he heard was three to five days in the hospital, then around twenty days in a rehab facility, and out of work on disability for about three months.
